YWAM Sudan


There are currently five teams from Youth With A Mission (YWAM) working amongst the Sudanese people.  Two teams are working alongside the church in southern Sudan to see them built up and released into missions.  The remaining three teams are laboring to reach the Sudanese people in the northern part of the country.


Our Mission Statement:

We believe we will see beauty rise out of ashes and the ancient ruins restored as the light of the Gospel goes throughout Sudan and the nations.

This will happen as we commit ourselves to…

-Proclaiming the good news of Christ.
-Making disciples of all people throughout Sudan.
-Working alongside the churches to impact the spheres of society.
-Bringing healing and reconciliation to families, communities and tribes to bring the peace of God.

We do all of this so that the splendor of God will be displayed in Sudan and throughout the nations.

Key Scripture- Is 61:1-9

 "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.  YWAM Sudan Staff:

Santos, Agnes and Family are currently serving in Yei, Sudan. They have a heart for evangelizing to unreached people groups and reconciliation amongst tribes. There remain a number of tribes in Southern Sudan that do not have a single church.

Steven and wife currently serving in Sudan. Steven helped pioneered a children's ministry in Sudan and has staffed multiple DTS in Sudan. Their heart is to mobilize, disciple, and evangelize throughout Sudan.

Lokuta is serving in Yei leading the preschool and primary school. There are now over one hundred children that are becoming educated by the school in Yei. He has a heart for the children of Sudan to be raised with a good education and with the love of Jesus in their hearts and also has a heart to work with the youth groups in the churches.
