The first-ever School of Biblical Studies (SBS) in Sudan (north) started earlier this month. This 3-month course is an intensive introduction in inductive bible study. Not only will the students be studying the bible, but they will be learning HOW to study the bible. Steps of faith in northern Sudan

After three months of lectures in northern Sudan, the Discipleship Training School (DTS) staff and students are ready to begin their two-month outreach. One team will be partnering with two Sudanese families who are working amongst an unreached tribe to see a church established for the first time. Bags of Hope

In 2009 staff from YWAM Sudan felt called to distribute a tangible gift to Sudanese families at Christmas as a celebration of Jesus. With faith in their hearts they prayed to be able to distribute Bags of Hope to 100 families that year. God did more than they asked and they distributed over 500 bags to families in December of 2009. Last year they prayed and decided to set a goal of 1000 bags.
